Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. If we no longer offer Free Shipping internationally. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Our policy lasts 5 days. If you have not contacted our customer support email:poetry@poetrystudios.com with in 5 days, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be damaged, and unused in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Our packaging and Hair is most Excellent in condition and uphold in true value of our products.

If the Item is damaged by any means, email a hi-def photo of damaged Hair received. We will then determine if we will ship out another package to you of same value, or give full refund if the items are deemed damaged goods.

You are responsible for shipping the item back to our warehouse in China. We will pay for shipping new order out to you of same value.

We will provide shipping address once Order is deemed damaged.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Furniture Shipment: U.S ONLY

  • Most smaller items will ship via UPS or FedEx ground.
  • Large items, like sofas and beds, will ship as CURBSIDE DELIVERY via YRC shipping or ABF freight. (which means that you will be responsible for bringing your order inside and setting it up!)
  • Inside delivery can be added to most freight shipments for an additional $120 inside delivery fee
  • We ship all of our shipments out with a Signature Required. You may request no signature required on most UPS and FedEx shipments after your order has shipped by contacting the shipper directly.
  • Larger orders that ship out via YRC shipping or ABF freight are not not eligible for “no signature required”, and someone must be home to accept and sign for delivery. (you will be able to schedule a convenient day/time for delivery with the shipper)

Please note that the customer will be responsible for the shipping cost incurred and 15% restocking fee for returned merchandise.

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped from the warehouse containing your UPS or FedEx tracking number(s). Please allow 5-7 days from the time your order is shipped for UPS or FedEx to deliver your package(s). UPS and FedEx deliveries are made Monday – Friday with no advance call. UPS or FedEx will make up to 3 delivery attempts; after the third failed attempt the packages(s) will be returned to our warehouse and we will issue a credit for your merchandise minus round trip shipping fees and a 15% restocking fee.

POLICY AND TERMS

To ensure that your package is properly delivered and you receive shipment within the time frame we advertise, please make sure your address is fully entered and correct. Use correct abbreviations and have spaces inserted properly, we do not take responsibility for the incorrect information. If the package is returned non-deliverable we will issue a store credit for the net price of your item(s) minus the shipping charge.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you refuse any shipments from poetrystudios.com, you will be held responsible for the original shipping charges, plus the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. We do ship to PO Boxes via USPS. Expedited shipping is not available to a PO Box.

If your tracking information states that your package was delivered and you have not received it. You must address this with the United States Postal Service. Poetry Studios does not hold responsibility for packages that state to be delivered. We do not issue refund for packages that state being delivered.

Just a reminder that you will receive your order 2-3 business days from the date that it is shipped out depending on country and origin, not necessarily from the date that it is placed. This is just an estimate, and doesn’t include weekends or holidays. When your order has been shipped, you will receive am email with tracking information.

 

We offer USPS Priority Mail to most locations (domestic & internationally). Your shipping cost is displayed at point of checkout.

*If your order is multiple items and one of them is out of stock, we will go ahead and ship the rest of your order issuing store credit for the item(s) not in stock.*

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:

The rates may vary for international orders depending on where you live, certain countries add tarriffs after the package has been accepted there. We are not responsible for these additional costs. The shipping rate will be displayed during checkout, before you submit payment.

 

Return Policy

Eligible items may be returned for Store Credit only. Returns must be returned within 30 days of the ship date received. Poetry Studios will not accept any returns after 30 days.
Returned items must be unworn and unwashed (free of any stains from makeup, deodorant, or wear) with all Poetry Studios and product tags attached. Defective items must be reported within 2 days of receipt. If not reported, we will not issue credit. If you believe you have received an incorrect item, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your package.
Merchandise purchased online can be returned via mail to our Distribution Center. Please keep in mind that in-store returns will be issued store credit that can only be used in-store. No in-person drop offs will be accepted at our Distribution Center or Corporate Office. We recommend shipping packages back with a tracking number, lost packages without proof of receipt will not be given return credit.
Exchanges

We do not do exchanges. Our reasoning is simple. Our products are in high demand and if you send back the item you want to exchange, there is no guarantee we will have what you want at that time.

However, simply return your package by following the normal return procedure. We will issue you a store credit once we’ve received your return. That way, you may use the credit towards the correct item/size or for another item.

* Please note: Original shipping fees are non-refundable. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. A restocking fee will be assessed on orders that are refused by the customer at the time of delivery or returned due to an “un-deliverable” address.

*FINAL SALE ITEMS (NON RETURNABLE, NO EXCEPTIONS):

All items ending in $.96, $.97,$.98 are FINAL SALE, bodysuits, swim suits are non-returnable.

Shoe Return Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with every item you purchase from Poetry Studios. Our company prides itself on being environmentally friendly, therefore we ship all shoes in a stylish bag. If, for whatever reason, you are not satisfied with your shoes, we will accept returns up to 30 days after purchase if the following conditions are met:

  • All items must be unworn.
  • All Items must be in their original packaging.
  • You must include the original invoice.

* Please note if you choose to return shoes to one of our locations, the return will be honored via gift card until shoes become available in our stores.

Return by Mail

  1. Please print and fill out our return slip or include your original packing slip with item(s) being returned. Kindly note without providing an order number there may be a delay in your return process.
  2. Pack your item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible. Please note that all items must be returned in original condition (including all parts & accessories) with tags attached. Items must be unworn and unwashed. We do not accept “Sale” items or bodysuits.
  3. All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We do not accept COD deliveries, it will be rejected. Please keep the return tracking information for your records. Fashion Nova is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Credit for your return merchandise will be processed once product is received at our warehouse. Please allow 1-5 business days for return processing. Ordering & Payment

I’m in love with an item, but it’s out of stock on the site. What should I do and how often do you restock?

Good news! We get new items frequently, especially our most popular items. You can be notified by email by clicking the green “NOTIFY ME WHEN AVAILABLE” button at the top left corner of the page of the item. Once the item is restocked, you’ll be notified right away.

I am an international customer and I am not sure how much I’ll be charged for a purchase.

Poetry Studios is proud to service our customers from all over the world! All pricing on our site is in USD, the conversion rate would depend on your issuing credit card company being used on the transaction.

What payment methods do you accept?

Fashion Nova offers a variety of payment options. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards. We also take PayPal and store credit in the form of e-gift cards.

I placed an order, but never received a confirmation email.

If you do not receive an email from Fashion Nova within hours of placing your order and it’s not in your Spam folder, the email address on file is most likely spelled incorrectly. Please contact our Customer Care via email or phone for assistance to update your order.

How do I change or cancel my order?

We’re super quick at processing orders to make sure that you receive them as soon as possible. You can change your order as much as you like before you click “Checkout” but after this point you will be unable to make changes to your order. Keep in mind our system is designed to fulfill orders as quickly as possible. We cannot cancel or change an order once it has been placed. In such case you can however, return the item to us in accordance with our Returns Policy. If we sent out your package and your items are returned to us (Packages marked “Return to Sender”) due to an incorrect/undeliverable address, we will issue a store credit for the net total minus the shipping fee. You will be held responsible for the initial cost of shipping the package.

How long after I place my order will it ship?

Orders are shipped Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. It may take up to 24 hours for an order to be processed. Kindly note shipping may be delayed by our verifications team if confirmation is needed for the order. For customers selecting 1- Day Shipping, please keep in mind your order must be placed before 1pm PST to leave the same day Monday – Thursday.

I am an international customer. What are the rates I should expect to pay?

Poetry Studios is not responsible for applicable customs fees, import duties, taxes, or any other charges. The customer is responsible for the charges, even if the shipment is refused upon delivery. If the package is returned to our warehouse, there will be a bounce back fee.

My order was confirmed, but I just got an email saying an item is out of stock. What does this mean?

Between the time you placed the order and when we processed it, the item was no longer available. We will send you an email with an E-gift card containing the amount you are owed for the cost of the item. Please treat the gift card like cash, as it is store credit you can use during a later purchase. Store credit never expires.

I placed an order, but haven’t seen any movement from Poetry Studios. What’s going on?

There are several reasons why your order may have been delayed. Either your order was flagged for risk of fraud, or we needed to contact you to verify your personal information. In all cases, we will reach out to you as soon as an issue is indicated and proceed to ship your items as quickly as possible.

Shipping

What company does Poetry Studios use to ship packages?

We offer USPS Priority mail, both domestic and internationally. Our expedited shipping is processed with UPS, and Fed Ex.

How long does shipping within the US take?

5- 7 Business days once Ordered has been processed.

How long does it take to ship internationally?

It usually takes 6-10 business days to arrive in your country however, in some instances, delivery may be delayed depending on your country’s customs.

Do you refund shipping fees?

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

How do I know my package has shipped and is on its way?

Once you place an order, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. Once your order has been processed and is leaving the warehouse, you will receive another automatic email with shipping information.

Tracking Your Order

How do I check on the status of my order?

You will receive Email updates with order status. Once shipped, a Tracking Number will be provided. Please Note, depending on item Purchased it may take longer than most for over seas manufacturers.

How can I track my package (domestic)?

In your shipping confirmation email, you’ll get a link to the tracking history. From there, you can monitor your package’s progress until it’s delivered to your door. Or, visit USPS.com and enter the tracking number emailed to you.

How can I track my package (international)?

In your shipping confirmation email, you’ll get a link to the tracking history. In some cases, the tracking information will only be provided up until the package leaves Las Vegas as air mail. From there, please plan an additional 7-10 business days before delivery.

I placed an order two weeks/a while ago and just realized I’ve been getting several emails and missed calls from Poetry Studios… What’s going on?

In the event we need to verify your order or need to contact you regarding your order in general, we will attempt to call and email you. If we are unable to reach you several times after 7 business days, we will cancel your order and issue you store credit in the amount of the items plus the shipping fee. If you notice a message from Poetry Studios via phone or email, please call us back as soon as possible to avoid having your purchase cancelled.

My tracking info shows my package was delivered, but I never received it.

Poetry Studios provides customers with the option to track packages. If the tracking information states that your items have been delivered but you have not received it, you must contact the United States Postal Service and discuss the issue with them. Reach USPS HERE or call 1 (800) 222-1811 for domestic or international assistance. Please check around your neighborhood in case another home received it by mistake. Speak with family, roommates, etc. in case they received it on your behalf. The package may also have been left with property managers. We will do our best to assist you, but Poetry Studios does not hold responsibility for packages that are lost or stolen. Please contact your local mail carrier and post office to file a claim.

Returns

I am in the United States and want to return an item I am not satisfied with.

If you are not happy with your purchase, please send it back to our Las Vegas P.o Box within 30 days of the delivery date with a return slip. Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, and still have all tags attached. If returning by mail, we suggest using USPS flat rate shipping for convenience. You will be responsible for covering shipping costs to return items and shipping charges must be prepaid. We would be happy to issue you a refund in the form of store credit to use on a future purchase. Store credit never expires. There will be a 50% restocking fee taken out of your credit.

I am an international customer and I want to return an item.

Please contact us before returning an item, as there are special circumstances when we cannot accept a return from an international location. We will do our best to accommodate. We are not responsible for returns until they reach our warehouse.

My shoes do not fit, and I want to return them.

No worries, we will accept shoe returns up to 30 days after purchase, as long as the shoes are unworn, are in their original packaging, and you have included the original invoice.

My package is being returned to you, what do I do now?

All packages returned to us due to an invalid address will be restocked and you will be issued a store credit minus the initial shipping charge. We are not able to reship an order as all returned shipments are processed by our Returns Department.

How long does it take to process returns?

Returns are processed within 2-5 business days after your item(s) are received into our warehouse. Once your return has been processed, you will be issued an online store credit in the form of an E-gift card via email. Please keep your return tracking number for your records.

Does Fashion Nova do exchanges?

Because we can’t ensure our Fashionistas will be issued the style/size they desire by the time their returned items come back to the warehouse, we cannot do exchanges by mail. We do, however, accept exchanges at our stores as applicable.

Does Poetry Studios issue refunds?

We do not issue refunds, we offer store credit in the form of an E-gift card instead. Please treat store credit like cash.

I got my order, but an item is missing/defective/not what I ordered. What do I do?

Once you receive your order, thoroughly check your delivered items immediately. If you believe an item is missing/defective/not part of your order, you must contact our customer care department within two days of receipt and let us know.
